The stage is set for the counting of votes for the six assembly constituencies under the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat. The counting process, to be conducted at Jamshedpur Co-operative College, is in its final stages of preparation. With tension palpable among candidates and their supporters, the political atmosphere in the region is charged with anticipation.  The constituencies involved include Jamshedpur West, Jamshedpur East, Baharagora, Ghatsila, Potka, and Jugsalai. Election officials have made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth and efficient counting of votes. Tents representing various political parties have already been set up outside the counting center, symbolizing the fierce competition underway.  All eyes are on some of the high-stakes battles unfolding in the constituencies. In Ghatsila, there is a neck-and-neck contest between Babulal Soren, son of former Chief Minister Champa I Soren, and sitting minister Ramdas Soren.  In Jamshedpur West, the electoral battle is equally intense, with Minister Banna Gupta going head-to-head against former minister Saryu Rajya. This constituency is expected to see a close finish, further adding to the tension in the city.  The Jamshedpur East assembly constituency features a three-way contest between prominent figures: Purnima Das, daughter-in-law of former Chief Minister and Odisha State President Raghubar Das, Dr. Ajoy Kumar, former Member of Parliament, Shiv Shankar Singh, a renowned social worker.  The inclusion of these influential candidates has heightened interest in the constituency, making it one of the most talked-about races in the district.  With few hours left for the election counting to begin, contestants and their supporters are fully engrossed in the guesswork as to their political fortunes which remain sealed in the EVMs inside strong rooms of Jamshedpur Co-operative College. Parties have ordered garlands, colours, crackers and laddoos. All parties look confident of winning. The BJP has made elaborate arrangements for tomorrows victory procession which will move from Jubilee Park and reach the party office near Basant Talkies in Sakchi. Activists of Congress are also equally excited. Ajoy Kumar has given a tough fight to all the contestants and people have shown faith in the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, we are confident that our candidate will rise in tomorrows counting exercise, said a senior leader. He said that the party will take out a victory procession across the city. We have hired an open jeep that will be decorated with flowers. Our candidate will sit on the jeep to thank voters, a party worker said, adding that different units of the party will also celebrate in their respective areas.
