DC inspects polling stations, clusters ahead of final phase

Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Ranchi, Varun Ranjan on Sunday inspected the various polling stations and clusters of 61- Silli regarding the second phase assembly elections to be held on November 20 and directed the concerned officers to make all the arrangements on time. Ranjan inspected 61- Sillis Government Middle School Dowadu Block Silli, Booth No. 64 and 65 and the clusters formed here, Upgraded High School Godadih Block Silli Booth No. 49 and the clusters formed here, Government Upgraded Middle School Khalari Block Silli Booth No. 51 and the clusters here, Upgraded High School Godadih Block Silli Booth No. 49 and the clusters formed here. While observing all the arrangements, the DC said that the guidelines of the Election Commission of India should be surely followed. Ranjan, while inspecting all the arrangements, instructed the concerned officer that for the assembly elections to be held in Silli on November 20, the polling party and police party will stay in the polling centers and clusters built here For this, there should be no problem in their accommodation, adequate arrangements for food, drinking water, toilet should be ensured in these centers. During the inspection, Additional Collector Ranchi cum Returning Officer Silli, Ramnarayan Singh as well as Block Development Officer Silli, Zonal Officer Silli and other officers were also present.
