In a concerted effort to increase voter turnout, Chas Municipality launched a significant voter awareness drive on Tuesday. Targeting sanitation workers as community influencers, the initiative emphasized the importance of each individual vote in strengthening democracy. Addressing the workers, Sub-Divisional Officer Pranjal Dhanda highlighted voting as a "festival of democracy" and urged them not only to cast their own votes but to encourage others to do so as well.   Additionally to expand the campaigns reach, Chas Municipality extended voter awareness activities to the PVR Cinema at Bokaro Mall, where Sweep Nodal Officer Dr. Suman Gupta led a pledge ceremony, encouraging moviegoers to vote with their families. Attendees were shown an informational video on voting and given "Democracy Bands" as a symbolic reminder of their role in the democratic process.     Further outreach extended to rural areas of Chas and Gomia blocks, where local administrations organized voter rallies and night camps, rallying rural residents to participate in the elections. Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Circle Officers (COs) engaged with villagers directly, emphasizing the significance of their participation.   This coordinated campaign by the district administration and Chas Municipality is a comprehensive effort to inspire all eligible citizens to exercise their democratic right on November 20, contributing to a stronger and more inclusive voter turnout across the region.
