6 inmates of central jail observe Chhath Puja in Palamu

Six inmates of the central jail are observing Chhath Puja. Giving this information the central jail superintendent Bhagirath Karjee told this evening "We have received 6 applications from the inmates for the observance of the Chhath Puja."   Among the 6 there is a woman inmate, added Karjee. "We have made all necessary  arrangements for the observance of this Chhath Puja. There will be no problem to any one" he said.    There is a whole lot of piety and rituals where sanctity of the Chhath Puja is to be maintained by all means.    Karjee said "The 6 inmates who are observing Chhath Puja are well taken care of by us."   Chhath Puja has a long list of ingredients like milk, banana, rice, coconut, incense sticks, earthen lamp, mustard oil, sugar cane etc.    The Jail superintendent reiterated "The jail administration is very sensitive to the observance of this Maha Lok Parv  by the inmates."
