BJP releases star campaigners list of 41 leaders

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today announced 40-star campaigners for the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections. The 40-member list includes the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Road Construction and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari,Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath among others. Other names on the list include Champai Soren, Sita Soren, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union Agriculture Minister and Jharkhand in-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand co-in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma.  Meanwhile, in another development AJSU party chief Sudesh Mahto filed nomination for Silli seat. The Assam Chief Minister accompanied Sudesh at the nomination. Later, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reacted to the statement of former Congress leader and MLA from Barhi Umashankar Akela accusing him of selling  tickets for Rs 2 crore. The Congress party on Friday released its list and denied a ticket to sitting MLA Akela. The Congress on Thursday night announced its candidates for six seats in which it benched its sitting MLA from Barhi, Uma Shankar Akela. Denied ticket, Akela has targeted Congress In-charge Gulam Ahmad Mir alleging that the Congress in-charge had demanded Rs 2 crore from him and he was denied ticket as he refused to pay the amount. On Akelas allegation, Sarma said, I was also in Congress once. If Congress has 100 seats in a state, then 20 seats are sold. This is their old tradition. What Uma Shankar Akela ji said is not a new thing. In every state, we see that Congress sells 20 percent of seats. There is no benefit in making any personal allegation on Mir Saheb. It is the system of Congress that they sell 20 percent of seats. On the question of rebel candidates in Ranchi, he said that everyone wants him to contest the elections and in view of this, nominations are also filed by them but they are also persuaded till the date of withdrawal of nomination. He said that NDA is fielding one candidate on each seat but you can see the condition of the Indy alliance. He said that 2-2, 3-3 candidates are standing on the seat of the INDI Alliance. During this, Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahato on filing nomination. He said that despite adverse weather, the presence of thousands of workers makes it clear what is the inclination of the people towards NDA. While wishing all the allies of NDA, he expressed hope that Sudesh Mahato will once again win from Silli assembly constituency with record votes. During this, Himanta Biswa Sarma also said that the victory of NDA in Jharkhand is certain. NDA government will be formed in Jharkhand. He said that as per the promise, after the formation of the government, in the first cabinet meeting itself, Rs 2100 will be given every month in the account of the girls and women of Jharkhand under the Gogo Didi scheme. One and a half lakh jobs will be given in a year. He talked about giving sand to the people and two gas cylinders free on two festivals in a year. He said that the BJP fulfilled the promise made in Haryana, Assam and Madhya Pradesh. BJP targets JMM over Irfan remarks BJPs state spokesperson Pradeep Sinha launched a major attack on Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Addressing the media on October 25 at the state office, he raised a big question about the daughter-in-law of the Soren family. He said that Sita Soren was once a leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. She is the daughter-in-law of the Soren family. The way derogatory words were used for her, would the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have remained silent if Irfan Ansari had made a similar statement about the other daughter-in-law Kalpana Soren? Will the Soren family deny this statement of Irfan Ansari?
