JMMs stand is that this seat has been the traditional seat of Mukti Morcha. Similarly, the party wants Torpa seat for senior leader Pradeep Balmuchu, but here too JMM is not ready to take two steps back to compromise. On the contrary, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has staked its claim on Simaria, Bhawanathpur, Jamua assembly seats given to Congress in 2019. Senior Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Balmuchu said that the goal is to form the Mahagathbandhan government again in the state by winning the assembly elections, but it is also important to save and strengthen the organization. At the same time, party spokesperson Jagdish Sahu also admitted that some problem has arisen regarding the assembly seat.
