The Jharkhand assembly election is shaping up as a direct contest between the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led INDIA bloc and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), however, the BJP today announced its seat sharing formula by including AJSU, JD(U) and LJP in the NDA umbrella. The JMM led INDI alliance is yet to reveal its seat sharing formula. The tussle among INDI alliance partners has come to fore when JMM and Congress has staked claim over many seats. The meeting of Jharkhand Congress Election Committee is being held in Ranchi, from the statements of the senior leaders of the party who attended this meeting, it has become clear that there is still a deadlock between Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha regarding seat sharing in India Block in Jharkhand. From the statements of Mandus outgoing MLA and Congress leader Jaiprakash Bhai Patel, former minister Dadai Dubey, who has been an MLA from Bishrampur many times, former state president of Congress and Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Balmuchu, state spokesperson Jagdish Sahu, it has become clear that there are many assembly seats in Jharkhand, where the deadlock between Congress and JMM continues. According to information received from party sources, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is staking claim on many seats of Congress this time, on the other hand, despite the victorious MLA of 2019 joining the Congress, it is not ready to leave the Mandu assembly seat. JMMs stand is that this seat has been the traditional seat of Mukti Morcha. Similarly, the party wants Torpa seat for senior leader Pradeep Balmuchu, but here too JMM is not ready to take two steps back to compromise. On the contrary, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has staked its claim on Simaria, Bhawanathpur, Jamua assembly seats given to Congress in 2019. Senior Congress leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Balmuchu said that the goal is to form the Mahagathbandhan government again in the state by winning the assembly elections, but it is also important to save and strengthen the organization. At the same time, party spokesperson Jagdish Sahu also admitted that some problem has arisen regarding the assembly seat. Calling Mandu a traditional seat of JMM wrong, he said that he had won as a BJP candidate in the 2019 assembly elections. Then JMM also contested the elections and it stood third. At the same time, former minister Dadai Dubey said that gradually we have become a hanger-on on many seats, this is the truth.
