Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth inaugurated the "Ranchi - Gorakhpur Express Train" by flagging off through video conferencing on Tuesday. In the ceremony organized at Ranchi Railway Station of the division, Ranchi - Gorakhpur Express Train departed in the presence of special guest MP (Rajya Sabha) Mahua Maji, MLA Ranchi Chandreshwar Prasad Singh and Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra. On this occasion, ADRM Hemraj Meena, Sr DOM Shreya Singh, Sr DS and TE Neeraj Panchal, Sr DPO Raja, other officers of the division and a large number of public representatives, representatives of Railway Consumer Advisory Committee, media representatives, railway employees, passengers and others were present at Ranchi Railway Station. Information about the regular operation of train number 18629/18630 Ranchi - Gorakhpur - Ranchi Express will be given soon. Train number 18629 Ranchi - Gorakhpur Express will depart from Ranchi every Friday at 17.10 hrs and this train will arrive in Gorakhpur the next day at 11.30 hrs. Train number 18630 Gorakhpur - Ranchi Express will depart from Gorakhpur every Saturday at 15.30 hrs and this train will arrive in Ranchi the next day at 09.25 hrs. This train will have 01 AC First Class, 02 AC 2-Tier, 07 AC 3-Tier, 06 Second Class Sleeper, 01 Generator Car, 01 SLRD and 02 General Class coaches and the train will stop at Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Chandrapura, Dhanbad, Chittaranjan, Jamtara, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Patna Sahib, Patna, Patliputra, Dighwara, Chhapra, Siwan, Bhatni and Deoria Sadar stations.
