FOWA organises charity event at Govt School, Jonha, Ranchi

Forest Officers Wives Association (FOWA) organised a successful charity event at Rajkiyakrit Madhya Vidyalaya, Jonha, Ranchi on 18th September (Wednesday). Aimed at promoting health and physical activities along with education of the students, the event saw distribution of a water purifier and sports equipment such as football, volleyball, carrom board, net and jerseys among the students. Apart from this, FOWA provided a variety of food items for the school children, which added a joyful and nutritious touch to the occasion. Entertaining dances and songs were presented by the school children in the event. FOWA President Vibha Shrivastava appreciated the performance presented by the children and said that studies are important but sports, dance and music are also important for a healthy and successful life. Other members also gave motivational speeches to encourage them. Several FOWA members attended the event, including President Vibha Shrivastava, Secretary Poonam Ranjan, Joint Secretary Sunandita Das, Treasurer Meenu Pandian, Ranjana Samant, Vishakha Verma, Neema Lakhi as well as senior members Pramila Singh, Madhavi Chatterjee and Leena Gupta.
