Seven criminals involved in levy and bike theft arrested

Ranchi police have arrested seven criminals involved in levy and bike theft. SSP Chandan Sinha gave this information in a press conference on Friday. On Sinhas instructions, the police team took action and arrested Tinku Saw alias Mahi in the case of levy. Amresh Kumar, a resident of Patna, had lodged an FIR against Tinku Saw in Sikidiri police station. After filing the FIR, Amresh Kumar had told the police that Tinku Saw was demanding levy. The police took this matter seriously and arrested him from Ramgarh. Sajid Ansari, Haroon Ansari, Aftab Ansari, Kaleem Ansari and Azad Ansari were arrested in the case of bike theft. Addressing the press conference, the SSP said that information was received that some criminals from Ramgarh district are coming towards Ormanjhi and they are going to commit a crime. "After getting information about the case, a checking campaign was carried out. Seeing the police, the bike rider tried to run away. After this, the police interrogated them thoroughly on the basis of suspicion, after which it was found that these people were roaming on stolen bikes. Based on their statement, Ranchi Police arrested four other people from Ramgarh and recovered a total of eight bikes," he said.
