Congress Legislature Party meet to prepare for Assembly polls

A meeting of the Legislature Party was held in Ranchis Circuit House on Sunday under the chairmanship of Congress State In-Charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir. In this meeting, brainstorming was done on the assembly elections.   In the meeting feedback was also taken from the MLAs on the preparations for the elections. Also, suggestions were sought from the MLAs for the joint manifesto.   After the meeting, MLA Badal Patralekh said in a conversation with the media that suggestions have been sought from the MLAs for the joint manifesto. Congress wants to go to the electoral arena with a joint manifesto, he added.   Congress also brainstormed on ensuring victory on the current 18 sitting seats out of which Pradeep Yadav and JP Patel came later.   Mir said that the first priority should be to ensure victory on sitting seats. Apart from this, Rahul Gandhis visit to Jharkhand was also discussed in the meeting. For this, the MLAs were instructed to make preparations.    Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, MLA Amba Prasad and Purnima Neeraj Singh could not attend the meeting due to personal reasons.   Apart from State In-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, State President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, Dr Rameshwar Oraon, former State President Rajesh Thakur, Banna Gupta, Irfan Ansari, Badal Patralekh, Rajesh Kachhap, Naman Vikal Kongadi, Umashankar Akela, Bhushan Bada, Sona Ram Sinku, Pradeep Yadav, Anup Singh, Shilpi Neha Tirkey and Ramchandra Singh were present in the meeting of the Congress Legislature Party.   Meanwhile, Mir, Keshav Mahato Kamlesh and Jharkhand Congress Legislature Party Leader Rameshwar Oraon had a formal meeting with Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Ministers residential office at Kanke Road Ranchi.   On this occasion, he had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister on many important issues related to public interest, implementation of developmental schemes going on in the state and the current political situation in Jharkhand. Minister Banna Gupta, Minister Irfan Ansari, MLA Kalpana Soren, senior Congress leader Pranav Jha, former Jharkhand Congress state president Rajesh Thakur and others were present on the occasion.
