Ramdayal Mahato, a Naxal with a reward of Rs 10 lakhs from Jharkhand, has surrendered. Mahto has surrendered before the Giridih police. However, this has not been officially confirmed. His son Baijnath Mahato is said to have played a special role in getting Ramdayal Mahato to surrender. There is also a discussion about the fact that Ramdayal Mahato surrendered on Sunday in Madhuban police station area. If police sources are to be believed, Ramdayal Mahato alias Bachchan Da was working for the organization for many years. His squad has carried out many major Naxal incidents in many areas including Pirtand, Nimiyaghat, Madhuban, Dumri, Tundi. More than 75 cases are registered against him in various police stations. The police were continuously raiding different areas to arrest him. But, taking advantage of the geographical structure of Parasnath, he was always evading the eyes of the police. Whenever the police got information about this, he used to change his hideout. Mahato is a resident of Pipradih of Pirtand police station area. The rewarded and notorious Naxalite Mahato alias Bachchan Da was ill for the last few days. Ramdayal Mahato is a zonal committee member in the Naxalite organization. For the last several years, he has carried out many Naxalite incidents from Parasnath to Tundi. After the arrest of 25 lakh rewarded Naxalite Krishna Hansda a few months ago, Ramdayal Mahato was currently looking after the organization in Parasnath area and was engaged in strengthening the organization. Mahato has worked with many big Naxalites involved in the organization. These mainly include one crore rewarded Naxalite Misir Besra, Prayag Manjhi, Anal Da alias Patiram Manjhi, Ajay Mahato alias Tiger, Krishna Hansda etc. After the arrest of Krishna Hansda, he was given the command to strengthen the organization in the area of Parasnath.
