BSL (Bokaro Steel Plant) organized the first meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee for the year 2024-25, chaired by the Director In-Charge,  Birendra Kumar Tiwari. The meeting was attended by Executive Director (Projects & Additional Charge Material Management) C. R. Mahapatra, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts)  Suresh Rangani, Executive Director (Human Resources & Additional Charge of Works) Rajan Prasad, along with Chief General Managers of various departments and other senior officials.   The meeting began with a welcome address by the Official Language Officer,  Shashank Shekhar, who also outlined the agenda of the meeting. During the session, the progress on the decisions taken in the previous meeting and the advancement of Hindi in various departments were reviewed.   In his address, DIC Tiwari, emphasized the importance of promoting the use of Hindi. He instructed all department heads to organize Hindi workshops within their departments and to increase the usage of Hindi in official work. He also directed the Information & Technology Department to develop a feature for writing comments in Hindi in the e-Notesheet. Additionally, DIC Tiwari suggested the use of hoardings and banners to promote Hindi and called for the organization of events and competitions in schools on Hindi Day and during Hindi Fortnight.   Other senior officials present also shared their views on promoting the use of Hindi. The meeting was conducted and concluded with a vote of thanks by Official Language Officer, Shashank Shekhar.
