DGP directs to make people aware about dial 112

DGP Anurag Gupta held a review meeting on Tuesday to make the common people aware by promoting dial 112. During this, points like smooth implementation of dial 112 and bringing more improvement in awareness and response time by promoting it among the general public were discussed. During the meeting, Gupta said that a QR code should be created at the level of Jharkhand Police and installed at public places and all public transport, parks, schools, colleges where students come and go, so that the victim can scan it immediately and give timely information to 112. ADG Campaign issued instructions during the meeting to take quick and logical action on the complaints received related to dial-112. To bring the expected improvement in the response time, it was discussed to take quick action on the complaints received from the general public and execute them in less time. The ADG Campaign directed all SPs to organize camps in schools and colleges in their respective districts to motivate students to download mobile app related to Dial 112. He also gave directions to make public the information about Dial 112 for getting emergency help.
