Chief Minister Hemant Soren today reviewed the preparations for the main function to be organized at Birsa Munda Smriti Udyan Ranchi on the occasion of World Tribal Day at the Jharkhand Ministry. During the review, Chief Minister Hemant Soren directed the officials to celebrate Jharkhand Tribal Festival with full dignity and grandeur on the occasion of World Tribal Day on 9th and 10th August 2024. Better arrangements should be ensured for all the visitors arriving at the festival. There should be complete seating arrangement for the visitors at the cultural function venue. Make all the preparations with better planning so that there is no lack in decoration and grandeur. The Chief Minister told the officials to include the rich art and culture of Jharkhand as a priority in the cultural programs organized during the function. The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure that the grandeur of the program is focused on the art and culture of Jharkhand. Soren directed the officials to take special care that the trees and plants planted in the Birsa Munda Smriti Udyan complex are not damaged during the event. On the occasion, the departmental officers apprised the Chief Minister that special care is being taken with utmost diligence to ensure that not a single tree or plant planted at the venue is harmed during the programme. During the review, the Chief Minister directed the officers to give priority to local artists in the cultural programme organised at the main function. Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Avinash Kumar, Secretary of the Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department, Kripanand Jha, Tribal Welfare Commissioner of the State, Ajay Nath Jha and Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Rahul Kumar Sinha, along with other officers were present in the meeting.
