CM fiat to hold JSSC exams as per schedule

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today held a high level meeting with Chief Secretary L. Khiangte, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Avinash Kumar, Prashant Kumar, Chairman of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission and Umashankar Singh, Secretary of School Education and Literacy Department regarding the ongoing appointment processes for other posts including Assistant Acharya Appointment Competitive Examination. In this meeting, he received complete information related to the ongoing appointment process for 26 thousand posts of Assistant Professor from the Chairman of JSSC and Education Secretary. The Secretary of School Education and Literacy Department informed the Chief Minister that the Supreme Court has only banned the publication of the result of Assistant Professor. There is no ban of any kind on the conduct of the examination. He told the Chief Minister that a petition will be filed in the Supreme Court against the ban on the publication of the result of Assistant Professor. Prashant Kumar of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission said in the meeting that all the competitive examinations to be held for various posts will be held as per their predetermined dates. In such a situation, there should not be any kind of doubt among the candidates of various competitive examinations. He said that the Commission has already announced the dates for conducting various competitive examinations. In such a situation, preparations related to the conduct of various competitive examinations are being completed as per the predetermined dates.
