Cultural extravaganza AVIRBHAV 2024 concludes at  DPS CHAS

 The three-day cultural extravaganza "Avirbhav" concluded on a grand note at Delhi Public School (DPS) Chas, with Jamuna and Sutlej Houses emerging as the winning squads from the primary and secondary wings, respectively.   Held at the Bharat Muni Assembly Arena, the event showcased an amalgamation of emotion, artistic movement, and cohesive storytelling with rhythm, captivating the audience. Distinguished guests included Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, Pro-Vice Chairman Mr. N. Muralidharan, Officiating Principal  Deepali Bhuskute, and Headmistress  Sudeshna Sinha. Notably specialist judges for the event included Priyanka Sharma from DAV Bokaro,  Ankita Chakraborty, and  Chandrima Ray.   The theme, classical Hindustani and folk-dance forms, promoted cultural inheritance and respect for traditions. Young artists from the Primary Wing presented folk dances from Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and West Bengal. The Secondary Wing troupe performed Durga Stuti, Saraswati Stuti, Ganesh Vandana, and Shiv Stuti.   Sutlej House (Secondary Wing) and Jamuna House (Primary Wing) won the top spots, while Ganga and Chenab Houses secured second place. Jamuna House (Secondary Wing) and Sutlej House (Primary Wing) took third place.   Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan emphasized the importance of cultural pride through dance, reminding students that competitions are about creating values and ideas. Pro-Vice Chairman  N. Muralidharan, Headmistress  Sudeshna Sinha, and other dignitaries praised the students dedication and performances.   "Avirbhav" celebrated the diverse talents of students and fostered a deep appreciation for culture and art forms, inspiring young minds to pursue excellence. The school community looks forward to more events that celebrate Indias vibrant cultural landscape.
