Three dead due to building collapse in Deoghar

A major accident took place in Deoghar on Sunday morning. A three-storey building collapsed near Sita Hotel in Nagar police station area. 10 to 12 people are feared to be trapped under the debris in this accident. The NDRF team rescued six people and took them to Deoghar Sadar Hospital. Out of these, one woman and two men died. The deceased have been identified as Manish Dutt Dwari, wife Anupama Devi and Sunil Yadav. Sunil Kumar Yadav is a private driver, who drives the car of a bank officer while the other three people are being treated at Deoghar Sadar Hospital. These include Poonam, who runs a tea shop, and her two children Suhani and Pihu. The rescue team is engaged in safely evacuating the rest of the people buried under the debris. After the incident of collapse of the three-storey building, NDRF and Health Department teams have been deputed at the spot. The district administration is carrying out relief and rescue operations to take out the people trapped under the debris. Ambulances are also deployed on the spot. DC, SP and Godda MP Nishikant Dubey are camping at the site of the incident. The Godda MP wrote in a post on Twitter that a three-storey house collapsed on Bambam Jha Path in Deoghar around 6 am on Sunday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah immediately sent a team. Since morning, I myself am present at the site of the incident along with senior BJP leaders and local people. Local people have rescued three people so far and NDRF has rescued 1 woman. Rescue operations are underway, Deoghar AIIMS has arranged treatment facilities for the injured, he said. First of all, 3 children were rescued. Regarding the survival of the innocent child, the civil surgeon has said that this is no less than a miracle. On Sunday early morning, a 3-storey building collapsed. During this, about 7 people were buried under the debris. The civil surgeon of Deoghar Sadar Hospital said that our OPD is closed today due to Sunday. "Still, we deployed a team of 4 doctors since morning. I myself have been sitting here since 7 oclock. I was treating those who were coming alive. A child also reached alive, it can only be called a miracle that he reached here alive and was treated on time. There is a woman, she is also alive. Her leg is broken," he said.
