Special Rath Yatra trains to handle increased passenger traffic

In anticipation of the increased passenger rush during the Rath Yatra festival, special trains have been scheduled to accommodate the extra demand. The following trains and their schedules have been announced: The 08387/08388 Baleshwar-Puri-Baleshwar Rath Yatra Special will operate as follows: Train 08387 will depart from Baleshwar on 6th and 14th July 2024 at 17:40 hrs and arrive in Puri at 23:45 hrs the same day. The return train, 08388, will leave Puri on 8th and 16th July 2024 at 01:15 hrs, reaching Baleshwar at 08:00 hrs the same day. This special train will have stoppages at Nilgiri Road, Khantapara, Panpana, Bahanaga Bazar, Soro, Sabira, Markona, and Ranital within the South Eastern Railway jurisdiction. The 08379/08380 Badampahar-Puri-Badampahar Rath Yatra Special will also be available: Train 08379 will leave Badampahar on 6th and 14th July 2024 at 06:00 hrs, arriving in Puri at 21:15 hrs the same day. The return journey on train 08380 will depart from Puri on 8th and 16th July 2024 at 02:30 hrs, arriving back in Badampahar at 18:15 hrs the same day. This service will stop at Chhanua, Kuldiha, Rairangpur, Ondagram, Bahalda Road, Sidhirsai, Haludpukur, Tatanagar, Ghatsila, Chakulia, Gidhni, Jhargram, Hijli, Belda, Dantan, Jaleswar, Basta, Rupsa, Baleshwar, and Soro. For passengers traveling from Rourkela, the 08376/08377 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Rath Yatra Special will be available: Train 08376 will leave Rourkela on 5th and 14th July 2024 at 21:50 hrs, arriving in Puri at 16:45 hrs the next day. The return train 08377 will depart from Puri on 8th and 16th July 2024 at 02:00 hrs, arriving in Rourkela at 15:30 hrs the same day. Stops for this train include Bondamunda, Bisra, Bhalulata, Jaraikela, Manoharpur, Ghaghra, Posoita, Derowan, Mahadevsal, Goilkera, Tunia, Sonua, Lotapahar, Chakradharpur, Barabambo, Pandrasali, Chaibasa, Singhpokharia, Jhinkpani, Talaburu, Kendposi, Maluka, Dangoaposi, Deojhar, Murga Mahadev Road, Banspani, and Jaroli. Additionally, the 08385/08386 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela Rath Yatra Special will run: Train 08385 will depart from Rourkela on 6th and 14th July 2024 at 11:30 hrs, reaching Puri at 23:15 hrs the same day. The return service, 08386, will leave Puri on 8th and 16th July 2024 at 03:15 hrs, arriving in Rourkela at 16:00 hrs the same day. This special train will make stops at Panposh, Kalunga, Kanshbahal, Rajgangpur, Sonakhan, Sagra, Garpos, Tangarmunda, Bamra, Dharuadihi, Bagdihi, Panpali, Dhutra, and Jharsuguda. These special trains have been scheduled to ensure that passengers can travel comfortably and conveniently to participate in the Rath Yatra festivities.
