BJP Bokaro District Burns Effigy of Rahul Gandhi in Protest

  • | Thursday | 4th July, 2024

In protest against Congress leader Rahul Gandhis recent remarks, which were perceived as derogatory towards the Hindu community, the BJP Bokaro District, led by District President Jaydev Rai, organized a demonstration today at Shri Ram Chowk, Dharmashala Mod, Chas. The event featured the burning of an effigy of Rahul Gandhi. Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan addressed the gathering, criticizing Rahul Gandhi for allegedly spreading love selectively. "Rahul ji talks about spreading love, but in his shop of love, there is no place for Hindus. Hindus are never violent; they are protectors. We all condemn his statement, and Rahul Gandhi should express regret for his remarks," he said. District President Jaydev Rai condemned Rahul Gandhis comments as "disgraceful and shameful," stating that calling Hindus violent was unacceptable. "Hindus are advocates of non-violence and philanthropy. Such statements, especially in Parliament, which is considered a temple of democracy, can only come from the Gandhi family. The Bokaro district BJP strongly opposes his statement, which is unfortunate and driven by malice. Rahul Gandhi should apologize to all Hindus," he asserted. The protest saw the participation of several prominent BJP members, including former District President Rohit Lal Singh, Laxman Nayak, Dr. Parinda Singh, Mihir Singh Chaudhary among others.
