Countdown to Voting Day: Focus on intensifying Voter Awareness Campaign

With only ten days remaining until the district elections, Deputy Development Commissioner and Senior Officer of the Sweep Cell,  Manish Kumar, held a crucial meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium in Jamshedpur. Addressing the officers and personnel of the Sweep Cell,  Kumar emphasized the urgency of accelerating the voter awareness campaign to ensure maximum voter turnout on May 25. Kumar outlined the importance of these final days leading up to the election, urging the team to devise a comprehensive action plan to enhance voter engagement. He instructed the officials to ensure the effective distribution of voter information slips, particularly in urban areas, to facilitate voter participation. "The primary goal of our large-scale voter awareness campaign is to communicate the importance of voting to every voter in the district. We want to ensure that voters, along with their families, head to the voting booths on May 25," said  Kumar. He called for a concerted effort over the next ten days, targeting various community segments including residential societies, social organizations, booth awareness groups, electoral literacy clubs, schools, colleges, transgender communities, NGOs, bus and auto associations, PDS shops, Pragya Kendras, clubs, and restaurants. In line with the directives of District Election Officer  Ananya Mittal, a voter awareness program themed 25 with 25 and Family Festival was conducted among the employees of the Tata Workers Union.  Kumar, who participated in the program, urged everyone to bring 25 people to the voting booth on May 25. He highlighted the administrations extensive voter awareness initiatives, particularly aimed at urban voters, and stressed the need for everyone to exercise their democratic right. Motivating the electorate,  Kumar stated, "In a democracy, every individual has an equal right to vote. I urge everyone to participate enthusiastically in this grand festival of democracy. Every vote contributes to shaping the nations future, so dont let your vote go to waste. Vote first and then proceed with your day." To reinforce their commitment, all attendees took a voter oath, pledging to vote and encouraging others to do the same.
