Rajkot: About 1 ,300 cyclists are participating in Cyclofun-2019 on Sunday.In the event that is being jointly organized by Rajkot Rotary Midtown Library, Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Rajkot Cycle Club and Suraksha Setu Society, cyclists not only from Saurashtra and Gujarat, but also from Syria and Bangladesh have registered for their participation.“The cycle rally will be flagged off from Balbhawan. Also, they will have to keep the rider's card till the end of the race,” the organizer said.“The main aim of this event is to convey the message of pollution-free Rajkot through the promotion of cycling instead of motor vehicles,” the organizer added. In the 50 km ride starting at 6.15 am, the riders are supposed to finish their run in three hours, and in the 25 km ride starting at 7 am, the riders are supposed to wind up their run in one and half hours,” said one of the organizers from Rajkot Rotary Midtown Library.“All the riders have to stick to the route mentioned on the map.
