PATNA: Chief secretary Amir Subhani was airlifted to New Delhi on Sunday for better treatment. Subhani, a 1987-batch UPSC civil services topper, was admitted to a private hospital in the state capital on Thursday after falling in the bathroom and receiving head injury. A minor trauma was later detected in the CT scan.State health department additional chief secretary Pratyaya Amrit told TOI on Monday that Subhani was taken to Delhi for overall treatment. "Sir is improving and there is nothing to worry about. He has gone for an overall check-up," said Amrit.Subhani, who had been suffering from fever for nearly three days, had fallen in the bathroom at his residence Thursday morning. He was admitted to IUC of a private hospital after he started feeling uneasiness and headache. In the CT scan, a minor injury was detected in his brain. Sources said presently he is at a Gurugram hospital. Chief minister Nitish Kumar had visited Subhani in the city hospital to take stock of his health.
