Noida, February 16, 2025 — A distressing incident has unfolded in Noida, where a woman has been left with visible scars on her face and hands after booking a premium executive beauty service through the Yes Madam app. The woman, Akanksha, claims that not only was she subjected to a painful and poorly executed treatment, but her complaints also went unanswered by the salon’s customer service.

Akanksha, a professional from Noida, had heard glowing reviews of Yes Madam, a popular beauty service platform offering at-home salon treatments. Seeking a premium, professional experience, she used the app to book a facial with one of their "Premium Executive" beauticians, expecting top-tier service.

"I wanted a high-quality facial, and the app promised me a premium experience with an executive beautician who would come to my home," Akanksha shared. "But when the session started, everything went wrong. The beautician’s technique was harsh, and it quickly became unbearable."

During the treatment, Akanksha began to feel intense stinging and burning sensations on her face and hands. Despite her discomfort, she tried to continue, assuming it was part of the process. But soon, her face became red and swollen, and her hands, which were also treated, started showing signs of irritation.

Feeling alarmed, she stopped the session immediately, but the damage had already been done. “When I looked in the mirror, I was horrified. My face was covered in blotches, and there were visible marks all over my hands. It was as if the treatments had burned my skin,” Akanksha recounted.

After the incident, Akanksha reached out to Yes Madam through their app’s customer service feature, hoping to resolve the issue. But despite multiple attempts, she did not receive any response from the company. "I emailed, messaged, and even called them, but no one got back to me. I felt completely ignored," she said. "This was a serious issue, and I was left without any support or apology."

Seeking medical attention, Akanksha visited a dermatologist who confirmed that the scarring was likely caused by an allergic reaction or improper technique. She has since been undergoing treatment to heal the scars, but the emotional toll remains significant.

As of now, Akanksha is left with lingering scars and a sense of betrayal. "I trusted them with my skin, and all I got was pain and silence," she said. "The lack of response from Yes Madam only added to my frustration."

The incident has raised concerns about the reliability of online beauty service platforms. Many consumers are now questioning the safety and quality of services provided through apps, where customer service may not always be accessible or responsive when problems arise.

This incident serves as a cautionary tale for anyone seeking beauty services via mobile apps. Experts are advising consumers to thoroughly research service providers, inquire about the qualifications of beauticians, and, most importantly, ensure that proper customer support channels are available in case of emergencies.

For now, Akanksha continues her recovery, and her story is being shared widely, urging others to be cautious when booking beauty treatments online. "No one should have to go through what I did. I just hope people learn to be more careful before trusting these services," she said.
