Fire in Mumbai's Khar, none injured

MUMBAI: On Friday a fire broke out at Nateshwar Bhavan , Khar Danda road. The tarpaulin shed on the terrace had caught the fire and was spreading rapidly", says a watchman at the building. After the fire brigade arrived the area was evacuated and the fire authorities took charge of the situation. He was then seen thanking the policemen and the firemen for saving the day and referred to them as "heroes" for saving the day.By Anushka Dias There were no casualties or any major damage caused to the structure.Terrance Lewis arrived at the site a few hours later and said, "I have just come to inspect the damage and see that all is ok".

MUMBAI: On Friday a fire broke out at Nateshwar Bhavan , Khar Danda road."Prima facie it appears that the incident was caused due to a short circuit from an adjacent structure", said S.K Bandgar, assistant divisional fire officer.The three storied building houses a dance institute run by renowned dancer Terrance Lewis."The fire was first spotted by a student on the ground floor. The tarpaulin shed on the terrace had caught the fire and was spreading rapidly", says a watchman at the building. After the fire brigade arrived the area was evacuated and the fire authorities took charge of the situation.
