Yogi performs Rudrabhishek, havan at Manasarovar temple on third Monday of Shravan

On the third Monday of the sacred month of Shravan, Gorakshapeethadhiswar and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek at the ancient Manasarovar temple in Andhiyari Bagh. During the Rudrabhishek, a prayer for the happiness and prosperity of the states people, Yogi offered Bilva leaves, Lotus flowers, Durva and other worship materials to Lord Mahadev. The ritual, which included the recitation of Rudrashtadhyayi from the Shukla Yajurveda Samhita by the learned priests of the Gorakhnath temple, was a solemn and important event. Following the Rudrabhishek, the chief minister performed havan and aarti, accompanied by Vedic chants, praying for a healthy, happy, prosperous, and peaceful life for the states people.
