Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that every investment generates new employment and fosters development. He announced that funds have been arranged for education, sports, and other initiatives in the state. The state government has introduced a special proposal through the Rozgar Mission Committee, allocating funds for various operations. Notably, Rs 200 crore have been earmarked for youth skill development, and Rs 100 crore for Project Praveen along with employment training, the CM said. He also mentioned a collaboration with Tata Consultancy to develop 150 ITIs into world-class skill development centres. These centres will offer 23 new-age courses designed to meet global market and industry demands. In education, Rs 28.40 crore have been allocated for laboratories in 284 government Inter colleges, and Rs 66 crore for communication technology labs in 1,040 government secondary schools. The government has introduced a policy to facilitate the establishment of new private universities. So far, 14 new universities have been established in the state. The government has identified commissionerates lacking universities and has established six new ones in these areas. These include the Maharaja Suheldev University in Azamgarh, Maharaja Mahendra Pratap Singh University in Aligarh, and Maa Shakambhari University in Saharanpur, all of which are now operational. Looking ahead, four new universities are planned: one named after Guru Jambheshwar in Moradabad (formalities completed), Maa Pateshwari University in Devipatan division, Maa Vindhyavasini University in Mirzapur division, and an agricultural university named after Mahatma Buddha in Kushinagar. A medical university has been established in Lucknow, affiliating all medical colleges in the state and expanding its operations. An AYUSH university in Gorakhpur is also operational and expanding its work. The chief minister announced plans to build a museum in Barabanki in honour of hockey legend KD Singh Babu. Despite a dispute over his residence, which was ordered for auction, the state government decided to preserve his home and convert it into a museum to honor his contributions to hockey. Additionally, the first sports university in the state, named after Major Dhyan Chand, is rapidly being constructed in Meerut. A sum of Rs 100 crore has been allocated in the supplementary budget for stadiums in rural areas to boost sports. Arrangements have been made for registered workers and destitute children through Atal Residential Schools, with schools established in 18 divisions. The government plans to create Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Vidyalaya model schools in 57 new districts, with funds already allocated. These schools will be set up in phases, beginning at the district level, followed by assembly, development block, and commissionerate levels. The CM emphasised that without education, society cannot advance towards self-reliance and prosperity. Additional funds have been allocated in the supplementary budget to complete the remaining work on Atal Residential Schools.
