CM Yogi condemns SP leaders remarks on the Sengol

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Thursday, took to his official X handle to condemn the comments made by Samajwadi Party leaders on the Sengol. He stated that the remarks revealed the ignorance of SP leaders and demonstrated their lack of respect for Indian history and culture. The chief minister wrote, Samajwadi Party has no respect for Indian history and culture. The comments of its top leaders on the Sengol are reprehensible. It shows their ignorance and also reflects the hatred of the INDI Alliance especially towards Tamil culture. He further wrote that the Sengol is a matter of pride for India and it is an honour that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given it the highest respect in Parliament. Notably, SP MP RK Chaudhary recently made comments about the Sengol in a letter to the pro-tem speaker.
