Yogi greets people on Hanuman Jayanti

On the occasion of Chaitra Shukla Purnima and Hanuman Jayanti, Chief Minister, and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath worshiped Lord Hanuman as per rituals. While extending his Hanuman Jayanti greetings to all citizens, the chief minister sought Lord Hanumans blessings for everyones health, happiness, prosperity, and peace. Engrossed in a nationwide campaign for the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, CM Yogi is actively conducting expansive rallies within the state and beyond. Following a significant public gathering alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Aligarh on Monday amidst the intense election activities, Yogi arrived in Gorakhpur in the evening. After having darshan and offering his prayers to Guru Gorakhnath and paying obeisance at the samadhi of his Guru Brahmalin Mahant Avaidyanath, he spent the night at the Gorakhnath temple. CM Yogis traditional routine on Tuesday morning included performing special worship for Hanuman Jayanti. On the Prakatotsav of Shri Hanumat on Chaitra Shukla Purnima, he participated in rituals amidst Vedic chants and performed the aarti in front of the Lord Hanuman idol in the Gorakhnath temple. With two idols of Lord Hanuman installed in the temple, the chief minister paid obeisance to both and prayed for the welfare of the people. Extending his wishes to people through a post on X, Yogi said, Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state and all devotees on Shri Hanuman Jayanti May the blessings of Shri Hanuman ji, the giver of eight powers and nine treasures (ashta siddhi nav nidhi ke daata), and an ardent devotee of Lord Shri Ram, be bestowed upon everyone. I pray to him for happiness, peace and prosperity of the entire creation. Om Hanumate Namah Meanwhile, Yogi engaged with young visitors at the Gorakhnath Temple on Tuesday morning. He departed from official protocol to spend time with children, sharing jokes, pampering them, and urging them to excel in studies. A group of children, accompanied by their families, visited the Gorakhnath Temple to meet the chief minister. Yogi received and greeted the children with a smile. Blessing each child and inquiring about their names, he fostered a sense of intimacy and connection. The children — Rajkumar Giri, Divyansh, Parnika Jaiswal, Monalisa, Sonali, James Chaudhary, and Sahil Bharti —were delighted by the chief ministers playful banter. The chief minister also distributed chocolates to the children. Before bidding them farewell, Yogi motivated the children to dedicate themselves to studies and strive for success.
