HYDERABAD: Five students from the city have bagged awards from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) for their exceptional performance in the 2017-18 exam under four categories.According to a press release issued by Cambridge International, two students — Murlesh Agarwal from Gitanjali School and Meghana Bellamkonda from Kennedy Global High School — secured a spot in the ‘top in the country’ category.While Murlesh Agarwal was awarded for his exceptional performance in accounting, Meghana Bellamkonda was awarded for environmental management.On the other hand, Pavani Atchula from Chirec International, Hiranmayi Krishna Desharaju from Reqelford International School and Murlesh Agarwal and Antara Narayan from Gitanjali School secured a spot in the ‘High Achievers’ category.The award winners from schools across the country will be recognised for their impressive academic achievements at the Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards ceremony which will be held early next year.“The Cambridge programme allows students to develop spontaneous thinking capability, eliminating the confinements that arise out of the rote method of study.
