GURUGRAM: As it preprares to make its electoral debut, the Jannayak Janhit Party (JJP) on Monday decided to constitute a working committee and assign responsibilities to party workers before February 28.In a news conference held in the city, the party’s district president Sube Singh Bohra said the JJP would bring an end to the BJP’s rule in the state.“JJP has already started distributing work and responsibilities among workers. The party chief has set February 28 as the deadline for the formation of committees which will come up with agendas and take out poll campaigns ,” he said.The party, he said, has already promised loan waiver to farmers, 75% job quota in the private sector to local youths and better old-age pension scheme if it comes to power in Haryana. “The JJP will focus on creating employment opportunities for the youth. In private companies in Haryana, 75% jobs will be given to residents of the state,” he said.There is an immediate need to improve the law and order situation in the state. “The party will create an environment that helps boost development in our state and makes people feel safe,” he said, adding the party will waive off loans given to farmers and provide free tube well connections.Bohra further said the JJP’s vision on protecting environment is strong and clear. The party feels that the BJP government’s attempt to “dilute Punjab Land Preservation Act ( PLPA )” aims at opening up land for real estate and promoting developers in NCR. The plan to lift legal cover to Aravalis, Bohra said, “on the behest of the builder mafia” is a serious threat to groundwater, wildlife habitat, soil erosion and forest in Gurugram and Faridabad.
