Bansuri Swaraj visits Satpula DDA Park, restarts Chhath Puja arrangements

  • | Monday | 4th November, 2024

New Delhi BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj on Sunday visited Satpula DDA Park near Chirag Delhi village and restarted the Chhath Puja arrangements, which she alleged were being obstructed by Delhi Minister and senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj. Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj is a symbol of political hypocrisy, whose political business is of spreading lies and confusion. His entire political strategy is negative, and he repeatedly misuses his power for self-promotion, she said. The BJP MP alleged that as Minister of the Department of Art and Culture, he abuses his position to promote himself by organizing events in his constituency, Greater Kailash, at public expense and plastering the area with hoardings and posters featuring his photo. Saurabh Bharadwaj engages in shameful politics, from organizing Sundarkand recitations to Ramleela and Chhath Puja, she claimed. Delhi residents have not forgotten how in 2022, Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj announced that AAP MLAs would organize monthly Sundarkand recitations in their constituencies, yet these recitations soon ceased to happen. This year, Saurabh Bharadwaj also created controversy around the Ramleela event held near his village, Chirag Delhi, Swaraj asserted, while questioning Saurabh Bharadwaj on his partys unfulfilled promise to clean the Yamuna and perform the Aarti. Swaraj also demanded answers as to why Bharadwaj is preventing Jan Seva Samiti, which has been allocated land in Satpula Park, from initiating Chhath Puja arrangements. Further, she claimed that the violence exhibited by Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj against Jan Seva Samiti members and BJP workers at Satpula Park in recent days, noting that such behavior is unprecedented, and the people of Delhi, especially those of Chirag Delhi, will never forgive him.
