Delhi BJP on Monday launched a three day Janta ka mudda assembly mein campaign to know the problems and issues that the people of Delhi are facing and assured them that they will raise them in the state assembly. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stated that he talked to a lady and her daughter from Ashok Nagar as they came out of Metro Station for shopping and got filled complaint form from them in which they listed dirty water supply, water logging, dirty unmaintained colony parks and e-rickshaw jamming traffic as major issues. Most people who filled forms at Connaught Place wanted BJP MLAs to raise in the Assembly the issues of excessive electricity bills getting heftier due to surcharges like PPRC, dirty water, irregular social welfare pension, encroachments, unrestricted e-rickshaw, lack of civic amenities like sanitation services and parks apart from lack of health & education facilities, he said. He added that the party workers who are going door to door especially during Maha Sadasyata Abhiyan on September 25 will get complaint forms filled by Delhiites and submit to the Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta who will then shortlist issues to be raised in the Delhi Assembly. Delhi Assembly is the forum to raise citizens issue during Question Hour, unfortunately Arvind Kejriwal government has denied this constitutional opportunity to BJP MLAs but we will now not let it to continue so, Gupta said, adding that on the strength of citizens complaint forms they will raise the issues and stall the Assembly till Chief Minister Atishi responds to them.
