BJP slams AAP for celebrations

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Friday hit out at the AAP leaders for celebrating Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwals interim bail by the Supreme Court in the alleged excise policy linked money laundering scam, demanding his resignation. The AAP leaders who have been celebrating Arvind Kejriwals interim bail since morning should read the order given by the court. If they do it they will be forced to introspect instead of celebrating, Sachdeva stated.Demanding Kejriwals resignation, he said, The order clearly states that Arvind Kejriwal can no longer go to the Secretariat, sign any files, or fulfil any duties as Chief Minister. After the courts order, if Arvind Kejriwal has any morality left, he should consider whether he has any right to remain in the Chief Ministers position. Further, the Delhi BJP chief claimed that now even the court has raised doubts about whether Kejriwal can continue as Chief Minister. He questioned whether Kejriwal has the right to receive government allowance, use a government car, or live in the palace home which is a prime example of corruption, when he cannot fulfil any duties as Chief Minister. Kejriwal, who always talks about morality, emerged from a movement but has now become obsessed with salary, facilities, and the palace, he said, adding that getting interim bail does not exonerate Kejriwal from his crimes. He called Kejriwal a criminal and a corrupt person and claimed that he has committed fraud in the liquor policy. Arvind Kejriwal is a fraudster in the liquor policy case, embezzling 100 crore with a money trail of 45 crore revealed by the CBI. Just like Lalu Yadav, who received interim bail but was later sentenced and had to go to jail, Arvind Kejriwal will also go in and out of jail repeatedly, he said.
