Former Congress MLA alleges Delhi Govt corrupt, calls for CBI investigation

Dalit leader and former Congress MLA Jai Kishan on Tuesday met the Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena and alleged that the Arvind Kejriwal government are indulged in corruption, loot, scams and exploitation of employees of the Delhi government. At the meeting, Saxena assured that he will investigate these complaints and take appropriate action in the matter. While claiming that all the departments of the Delhi Government have proved to be unsuccessful and the Chief Minister himself being lodged in jail, he said, "In such a situation, Presidents rule should be imposed here and all the scams should be investigated by the CBI so that the truth can come out," he said. In the complaint given to the Lieutenant Governor, Jai Kishan said that the scams in providing books, uniforms, food, money in the primary schools of Delhi Government and MCD and the commission demanded from private schools should be investigated. "In all the hospitals of Delhi government, there is looting in the name of medicines and cleanliness and patients are mistreated and employees are exploited on contract basis," he alleged, adding that in the dispensaries and mohalla clinics of government and MCD, patients are asked to buy medicines from outside on time. "Even in the mid-day meal that children get in Anganwadi, there is fraud and quality is not taken care of," he said.
