COIMBATORE: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University ( TNAU ) is in the process of inspecting agricultural colleges in the state to assess them before they start student intake in the coming academic year.Vice-chancellor of N Kumar said the standing committee of the university had been conducting the inspections at the colleges.There are 26 agricultural colleges in the state and the committee has inspected eight colleges.“The inspections would happen in March and April. “A team from ICAR would inspect these colleges and send us the results,” said Kumar. The deadline is April 15 and they committee would complete the inspections within that,” he said.The university would assess the features of the colleges and would give approval through its board, Kumar, said.
