Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday said that the road from Pehowa to Yamunanagar will be made four-lane to fulfil the old demand of lakhs of people going to Pehowa, Kurukshetra, Ladwa as well as Haridwar. Along with this, bypasses will be constructed in Kurukshetra and Ladwa, relieving commuters from traffic jams. He was speaking at a programme organised by BJP workers in Kurukshetra. Saini said the metro and local train network will be expanded in the state so that people can have ease in commuting. Soon, work will be done to speed up many road projects in the state. He said directions have been given to the officers that whatever problems and work of the citizens are there, they should be resolved on a priority basis. He said that instructions have been given to officers that wherever patch work related to roads or repair of roads is to be done under the Ladwa Assembly constituency, they have to ensure that the work is completed as soon as possible. He said solving the problem of every citizen is the top priority of the government and our doors will remain open 24 hours for them. Speaking at the four-day state-level Ratnavali Mahotsav at the Kurukshetra University, Saini said that the Ratnavali Mahotsav at Kurukshetra University serves as a remarkable platform to connect the younger generation with the songs, music, art, and culture of the state. He highlighted that Haryana has long been a significant hub of eternal knowledge, prosperity, and warrior valor, with evidence of its cultural richness tracing back to the Vedic period. Ratnavali Mahotsav plays a crucial role in preserving the culture and traditions rooted in this ancient era. He further said that the festival holds great importance in Haryanas cultural development journey, nurturing the states heritage and ensuring it is passed on to future generations. Saini said Kurukshetra University is among the leading universities in the country across various domains, including knowledge, science, research, skill development, sports, art, and culture. Few universities in India are actively working to preserve their regional and national culture alongside academic education. The Ratnavali Mahotsav is aimed at safeguarding Haryanas cultural heritage. This festival has been hosted at the university for the past 37 years, serving as a platform to connect the younger generation with the states songs, music, art, and culture. The Chief Minister said that the Ratnavali Mahotsav is contributing significantly to reviving Haryanvi folk culture and fostering a sense of pride among young students in their rich heritage. It offers a vibrant confluence of literature, music, and art.
