Samadhan shivirs to begin in Municipal Bodies from October 22: CM Saini

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday directed the concerned officials to hold "Samadhan Shivirs" in the municipal bodies starting October 22 to address public concerns. While reviewing the various development projects in the State with the officials of the Urban Local Bodies and Development and Panchayats Department, Saini said that to address the concerns of the people, Samadhan shivirs will be organised in Municipal bodies across the State from October 22. During these shivirs, all officers will be available in the office from 9 AM to 11 AM to address public concerns. For this, a complete outline will be prepared soon by convening another meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary.  At the meeting held, it was also decided that both Urban Local Bodies and Development and Panchayats Department shall hold Samadhan Shivirs for property ID-related matters. Urban Local Bodies Department shall hold samadhan shivirs at all wards and ULB offices and Panchayat department shall hold samadhan shivirs at BDPO offices. The samadhan shivirs shall continue for a period of one month. It was also decided that the Chief Minister will personally review development projects by convening a meeting with all Municipal Corporation Commissioners in Chandigarh on October 24 at 9 AM. District Municipal Commissioners, Joint Commissioners and Executive Officers of Municipal Bodies will also attend the meeting. Saini also instructed officials to create a development action plan aligned with future needs, emphasizing the importance of listening to and promptly addressing the issues and needs of the public. He also reviewed the work of the Development and Panchayats Department and directed to expedite the stalled development projects of the department.
