To enhance the quality of school education in Punjab, the State Government has sent its third batch of 50 headmasters and headmistresses to the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad for specialized training. Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains flagged off the group from the Mohali International airport on Sunday.   The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Punjab Government to improve school management and leadership. The current batch will undergo training from October 7 to 11, 2024.   Bains emphasized the global reputation of IIM Ahmedabad for management training, noting that the state is committed to equipping its educational leaders with top-tier skills. He also highlighted previous efforts, where 202 principals were trained in Singapore and 100 headmasters at IIM Ahmedabad, as part of the states mission to reform and upgrade its education system.   The Punjab Government is focused on providing world-class training to our educators, said Bains, adding that this initiative will empower our headmasters to bring efficiency and innovation to school management.
