Govt committed to welfare of all communities: Haryana CM

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday said that following the mantra of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, and Sabka Vishwas," the state government is dedicated to the welfare of every section of society. The government is committed to ensuring equal development across all areas, involving all 36 communities, and will continue to work for their welfare in the future, he added. The Chief Minister made these remarks while interacting with people at his residence in Chandigarh. Former Minister Kiran Chaudhary and former MP Shruti Chaudhary were also present on this occasion. Saini said that women also play a very crucial role in the countrys development. Women contribute significantly not only to building a civilized family but also to creating a civilized society. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has honored women by granting them 33 percent representation in Parliament. He also acknowledged the contributions of former Chief Minister Late Chaudhry Bansi Lal, who provided a new direction for Haryanas development. Bansi Lal was dedicated to the development of every individual, tirelessly working to ensure that every village received electricity, water, and roads. Under his leadership, Haryana became a leader in rural infrastructure development, he added. The Chief Minister accused the Congress Party of misleading people by spreading false propaganda about changing the Constitution. The Constitution is not merely a book but a systematic process for governing the country. PM Modi has run the country while adhering to the Constitution over the past 10 years. The Chief Minister also demanded that the Congress apologize to the people of the country for insulting the Constitution. People of Vimukta and Nomadic Castes to get housing facility under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Addressing representatives of the Banjara community, Saini said that people of Vimukta and nomadic castes will receive housing facilities under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban and Rural). For this, all families must register themselves on the portal to fulfill their dream of having a roof over their heads. On the occasion, the Chief Minister paid floral tributes to Baba Lakkhishah Banjara on his birth anniversary. He also declared that Vimukta Diwas will be officially celebrated on August 31. Saini said that the list of Vimukta, Ghumantu, and Tapriwas (De-notified) castes includes 20 Scheduled Castes and 13 Backward Classes. He said that to ensure the welfare of these castes and integrate them into the mainstream, the state government has constituted a separate board. In the future, members of this board will be nominated from these communities. The Chief Minister also assured the constitution of the Denotified Tribes Development Corporation. In response to the representatives demand for reservation benefits equal to those of Scheduled Tribes, the Chief Minister assured them that a letter would be written to the Central Government regarding this issue. He said that the government is working for the extremely backward castes, implementing numerous welfare schemes with the spirit of Antyodaya. He also highlighted the initiatives by the central and state governments to provide health facilities to citizens, urging them to take advantage of the Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu Haryana Yojana. The Chief Minister further said that for the convenience of the people, the government has instructed all Deputy Commissioners to listen to and resolve public issues daily from 9 to 11 am. If there are income or other errors in the Parivar Pehchan Patra, people can write them on plain paper and submit the same to the Deputy Commissioner.
