When they were questioned by CISF inspector S K Shaw and their e-tickets checked, it was found they were carrying forged e-tickets. They were supposed to board IndiGo flight (6E-274) to Hyderabad.Police claimed the two confessed that they had boasted about their “connections with high security officers” at the airport to the group. “We would also find out the methodology adopted to forge the e-tickets. MOHALI: Two travel agents allegedly forged e-tickets of a flight to Hyderabad and reached the boarding area before they were caught in a security breach at the Chandigarh international airport on Monday.Rajan Juneja and Satpal Juneja, both residents of Ludhiana, carried out the trick to show off to a group of tourists.According to police, Rajan and Satpal were accompanying a group of 30 tourists booked by them for a tour to Tirupati. They were supposed to board IndiGo flight (6E-274) to Hyderabad.Police claimed the two confessed that they had boasted about their “connections with high security officers” at the airport to the group. Bal said they sought their remand to ascertain that if they were used by some criminal or terrorist agency to carry out a crime. “We would also find out the methodology adopted to forge the e-tickets. We will keep seeking their remand till we are sure their motive was not to carry out any sabotage,” he said.
