Panchkula, April 29 The Panchkula police have arrested four accused, including two women, in connection with the firing on a Zirakpur family while they were going to lodge a police complaint in Pinjore. According to information, Anita, a resident of Zirakpur, had lodged a complaint with the Pinjore police that her husband, Ajay Kumar, was in security business. Due to the business, there was some financial dispute between her husband and Monu Punia, a resident of Zirakpur. Her husband had gone to Delhi due to some official work. Therefore she had come to Pinjore in her relative’s house, Anita had submitted. On April 27, Monu’s wife Mona and her sister forcibly entered into Anita’s relative’s house in Pinjore and started beating them. Two persons were also standing on the main gate. Immediately, Anita and her family members came out and fled from there in their car to save their lives. The attackers, including Monu Punia, followed their car and even fired a gun shot on Anita’s car, Anita had submitted. Later, on the complaint of Anita, the Pinjore police lodged an FIR and arrested Kuldeep and Vikas, who were sent to three-day police remand. The women accused were sent to 14-day judicial remand. Main accused Monu Punia is still at large.
