Medical colleges on PPP mode: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that new medical colleges are being started to provide better health facilities to the citizens of the state and expand the medical education system. Till 2003, there were only 5 government medical colleges in the state. In the last 20 years, 12 new medical colleges were started and now we have moved towards starting 12 more medical colleges simultaneously on PPP mode. Soon there will be 50 medical colleges in the state. Yadav emphasized that the healthcare and medical infrastructure in India is being significantly strengthened under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He highlighted the goal of establishing a medical college in every Lok Sabha constituency and reiterated the state governments commitment to ensuring a medical college in every district of Madhya Pradesh. On Saturday, Dr. Yadav held a meeting at Samatva Bhawan (the Chief Ministers Residence) to discuss the establishment of medical colleges under the PPP model in the state. The meeting was attended virtually by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla and senior officials. The discussions in the meeting focused on advancing this initiative to enhance healthcare facilities across Madhya Pradesh.  Yadav said that many areas of the state including Narmadapuram and Dewas will benefit from the facility of the new medical college.
