Martyred cops truly lived message of Deshbhakti-Janseva: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that when renowned doctors, unaware of Corona disease, closed their clinics, in those circumstances the police took charge risking their lives. 155 policemen laid down their lives while performing duty during the Corona period. They truly lived the message of "Deshbhakti-Janseva" and sacrificed their lives while on duty. I salute such brave warriors. The alertness and devotion with which the police work, the more respect and honour they receive. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the state-of-the-art well-equipped police hospital Swasti in Bhopal on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also launched the digital app e-Rakshak and Disha Learning App, created for the field police personnel to control crime and criminals. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all facilities are available in this modern hospital Swasti built at a cost of about Rs. 12.5 crores. Praising the financial management and discipline of the police department, he said that looking at the hospital; it seems that its cost should have been more. At the outset, the daughters of policemen welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav with tilak amidst police band and celebratory firing. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the hospital and recorded his views in the visitors book. Yadav honoured 40 thousand police personnel of Madhya Pradesh Police with the Karmaveer Yoddha Medal and citations for their indomitable courage and commendable work during the Corona period. Chief Minister Yadav symbolically presented medals and certificates to 5 policemen. Acting Inspector Munendra Gautam, Sub Inspector Priyamvada Singh, Gulzar Singh Marco, Constable Ajay Pal Singh and Constable Nishant Chhari were given medals and letters of appreciation. Yadav said that the head of the department should be like Saxena, who stayed at the forefront and worked in the interest of the policemen. About the "e-Raksha App", the Director General of Police said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address at the conference had said that "in this electronic age, the police need to work with data not lathi."
