Vehicle lifter nabbed, 4 bikes recovered

Booked for over 11 crimes of theft, burglary and assault a vehicle thief was arrested by Ayodhyanagar police and recovered  4 two-wheelers including Royal Enfield worth Rs 4.5 lakh from his possession, vehicle-lifting was done to fulfil his hobbies and for drugs. The accused was trying to sell a Bullet motorcycle stolen from Ayodhya Nagar Police Station area in Raisen area, when he was caught by the police. The accused Pawan Kathotiya has several crimes including theft, burglary registered against him in the past. He used to commit thefts to fulfill his hobby of roaming around and drug addiction. Station In-charge Inspector Mahesh Lilhare and his team arrested Pawan Kathotiya who confessed 4 stolen two-wheelers which were recovered from him and were worth about Rs. 4.5 lakh. Pawan who was going to sell the stolen Royal Enfield (Bullet) vehicle in Raisen area was stopped near Arahedi and was questioned about the motorcycle bearing registration number MP20NS0640. The accused revealed that he had stolen it from Basant Kunj Colony 5 months ago. He also admitted to have stolen Bajaj CT 100, an Activa from Chhatrapati Nagar about 02 months ago and a TVS bike in front of a liquor shop in Ayodhya Nagar about 02 months ago.
