Miscreant nabbed for snatching cell phone

Katara Hills police have nabbed a history-sheeter who snatched a mobile phone from an elderly vegetable trader in the night on Wednesday. After receiving the complaint, the police registered an FIR and arrested the accused youth after searching. Earlier also 13 crimes have been registered against the accused in different police stations. Katara Hills police station in-charge Bijendra Nigam said that 65-year-old Phool Singh Mali is a resident of Barai village. He does vegetable business and buys vegetables from the fields of nearby villages and comes to sell them in the vegetable market of the city. On the day of the incident he had reached the vegetable market behind the Katara police station to sell vegetables. Since there was a weekly market on the second day also, Phool Singh slept here at night. At night he got up to answer natures call during which a young man came and snatched the mobile phone from his hand and escaped. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police registered a case and started searching for the robber. During interrogation at the crime scene, police came to know that Ajay Golden, a history-sheeter of the area, had committed the crime. As soon as this was known, police cordoned off the area and arrested Ajay Golden. Ajay Golden(20) lives in Barrai village.
