Origami workshop held at RMNH

Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopalorganized Origami Workshop on Wednesday, 2024 for the Mentally Retarded Divyang students. 54 students & teachers from Miriam School For The Mentally Handicapped, E-6, Arera Colony, Bhopal and Government School for Mentally (Boys-Girls) Handicapped, Bhopal  participated in this workshop. Vinay Sapre, Former Instructor of Jawahar Bal Bhawan, Bhopal was the resource person of the workshop. In the beginging of the workshop, Head of Office of the Museum, Dr. Beenish Rafat welcomed the all participants & teachers. Dr. Beenish Rafat informed to students that Origami is an art by shich we can create various shape by folding the origami paper and we can increase our memory, concentaration & consonance of hand & eye and also contral our stress. During the workshop, Scientist-C Manik Lal Gupta detailed about the importance of birds like duck & sarus crane. Vinay Sapre demonstrated to create birds like duck & Sarus with the help of origami paper under the guidance of Sapre. Head of Office of the museum, Beenish Rafat and Vinay Sapre distributed the participation certificate to all the participants. Manik Lal Gupta, Scientist-C coordinated this workshop.
