Misrod police have arrested two young women who used to blackmail victims using lewd photos and videos; police have recovered a mobile phone from the accused. The accused girls have blackmailed and collected Rs 15 lakh from the victim whose wife lodged a complaint with the  Mahila Police Station  stating that there are two women named Soumya alias Rashmi, Monika alias Rashmi Sahu, who have blackmailed her husband and have taken Rs 13 lakh to Rs 15 lakh due to which their financial condition has become very bad. Her  husband shared that two girls Soumya alias Rashmi and Monika alias Rashmi are blackmailing him, they have made some photos, videos of him and threatening to made viral, they repeatedly demand different things from him, due to fear of defamation, he has fulfilled their demands till now, but he cannot fulfill any of their demands. The complainant contacted Soumya, who threatened to kill her, based on the complaint a case was registered in the Mahila Police Station under Section 308 (2) (7), 351 (4) 3 (5) BNSs crime was registered and investigation was taken up. During investigation, the Mahila Thana team arrested Saumya alias Rashmi from her house Vasundhara Apartment Surendra Nagar Bhopal. A mobile worth Rs 2,40,000/- was seized from her possession. Late at night Monika alias Rashmi came to the police station and surrendered. Both the accused have been presented before the court.
