16 suffering firecracker eye injuries treated at Sewa Sadan

As many as 16 injured people by burning crackers were successfully operated and treated in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital here today. They were injured by burning crackers in the intervening nights of October 31 and November 01  during Deepotsav 2024 at midnight. For this purpose special arrangements were made by deploying doctors and other staff round the clock. Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital will remain open on the third day Saturday night also for the treatment of people being injured by firecrackers. The changed names of the patients who were operated and treated are as follows. Both the eyes of Mahesh 25 years from Sagar were seriously injured, which were successfully operated upon in time. Similarly, the surgery of Left eye of Kartik 13 years of Silwani was also performed. Mohar Singh 17 years of village Ahmedpur had to undergo a minor surgery of multiple foreign bodies in his eyes while bursting crackers. Apart from these, the other injured persons include Jitendra 30 years, Hitesh 12 years, Riya 04 years, Harish Malviya 52 years, Sagar 48 years, Sahil 18 years, Chandulal 54 years and Ramesh Chauhan 43 years from Bhopal, Vansh 07 years from Narsinghgarh, Dulare Singh 58 years from Semra, Suraj 14 years of Kalapipal, Jalebi Bai 55 years from Vidisha and Savitri Devi 57 years from Narsinghpur came for their treatment of injured eyes. All major and minor surgeries and procedures were successfully done in the hospital and their vision was saved.
