Two siblings killed in mishap

A 11-year-old girl and her 5-year-old brother died while two others escaped with injuries after their speeding bike collided with a divider in Chhoti Jhagaria located in the Ratibad police station area on Wednesday. Four people including the father and brother were injured. All the injured are being treated at Hamidia Hospital. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. After the post-mortem, the bodies were handed over to the family on Thursday afternoon. According to ASI Gangaram Singh, Sunil Maravi, a resident of Seoni, works at a crusher in Secunderabad. His family also lives at the crusher. On Wednesday afternoon, he was going to Salkanpur on a bike with his daughter Vaishali (11), sons Rohit (9), Rohan (5) along with his brother-in-law Chintu alias Ankit and friend Arjun Narve. There were six persons on the bike. The bike reached Chhoti Jhagaria, about three kilometers from the crusher, when their bike went out of control and collided with the divider. The people riding the bike were seriously injured in the accident. As soon as police were informed they reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment where Vaishali and Rohan died early Thursday morning while Sunil is reportedly critical. ASI Gangaram Singh said that the wife of injured Sunil Marawi had refused to go to Salkanpur. She used to do cleaning work in houses. So she had gone to work due to which Sunil had gone with the children.
