Demanding changes in the road under construction farmers of Khajuri Kalan protested outside the bungalow of Minister of State Krishna Gaur on Link Road No. 1 on Thursday; they left after 2 hours of protest as Gaur failed to meet them. The farmers have come to complain about the width of the road under construction in the village. They protested by sitting  outside the bungalow for about two hours. However, they returned after Minister Gaur failed to meet the protesting farmers. Farmer Kuber Singh Rajput said an 80 feet road is being built in the village from Indian Bank to New Bypass which is a good thing for passersby and villagers, but the government has acquired the land of the farmers. Compensation has not been given for it and at the same time the construction of the road is not of good quality. He said the road has been diverted in the fields of 8 farmers in Khajuri Kalan village. We have said that if any religious place is coming in the way of road construction, then it should be displaced.
